Isn't he cute! Resizing and editing ALL of our books, and I unfortunately could not find the original font for They're Not So Bad. This was close enough to the original and works well with the vibe of the narrator, Remy’s big sister, Jade. Jade is terribly afraid of spiders but has a little brother who is obsessed with them.
Jade represents most of the women in my family, LOL! Her name is also a way to memorialize the name of what would have been our second child. 😇Hence, the Clay + Stone logo.
I added a dedication page to honor the hilarious, well-known memory of my grandmother, who was known for picking up spiders with a napkin and placing them gently outside. Huge ones! I hope to one day be that brave 😆. She was a vegetable and fruit gardener and wholeheartedly believed that spiders were the best pest control there was.
